A vibrant opening ceremony performed by children of all ages touched the hearts of all present as they danced and sang. The convention theme song moved all with the words "one child at a time".  Young girls in traditional costume from a deaf school perfored to music that only the audience could hear, but they could certainly see the applause given with hands held high.  The kindergarted children with their colourful dress and infectious smile reminded us of our purpose in Kiwanis. One Child and community and at a time"

Saturday
